Since then a lot of time has passed and today insurance have become complex and are  a key pillar of the economy all around the world.

In Greece the term used is technical consultant, in the UK it is loss assessor, in the USA it is public adjuster and in Oceania it is claim preparer.

An interesting event, highlighting the importance of the role of the claims manager (loss assessor) in the modern business and insurance industry, was organized by FAIR Consulting on October 17, with Mr. Allan Manning, an internationally renowned speaker on claims management and a technical consultant with great experience in this field of expertise.
